Tomasz Gizbert-Studnicki – is Professor Emeritus of Law and former head of the Department of Legal Theory, Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Poland. He is co-founder and chairman of the Board of the Jagiellonian Research Centre ‘Law, Language, Philosophy’. He received his PhD and habilitation in law from Jagiellonian University. He has authored several books and more than 100 papers in Polish, English, German and French on various topics of legal theory, including legal interpretation, language of law and legal reasoning.
