Professor Sevtap Metin graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Law in 1986. She completed her Master's and Phd studies at Istanbul University Institute of Social Sciences. She currently works in the Department of Legal Philosophy and Sociology at Istanbul University Faculty of Law. Her major book publications include Biomedical Ethics and Law, Legal Methodology, and From Magna Carta and the Sened-i Ittifak to the Present Day.
Profesör Sevtap Metin,İstanbul Üniversitesi Hukuk Fakültesi’nden 1986 yılında mezun olmuştur. Yüksek Lisans ve Doktora çalışmalarını İstanbul Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü’nde tamamlamıştır. Halen İstanbul Üniversitesi Hukuk Fakültesi Hukuk Felsefesi ve Sosyolojisi Anabilim Dalı’nda görev yapmaktadır. Biyotıp Etiği ve Hukuk, Hukuk Metodolojisi, Magna Carta ve Sened-i İttifak’tan Bugüne başlıca kitap çalışmalarındandır.
