Bartosz Wojciechowski is a full professor in law at the University of Lodz (Poland), the Director of the Center for Theory and Philosophy of Human Rights, the member of an Editorial Board of the journals: International Journal for the Semiotics of Law, Archiwum Filozofii Prawa i Filozofii Społecznej, Folia Iuridica. Acta Universitatis Lodziensis, an international expert in the EU-funded project “Pravo-Justice” (European Justice for Ukraine), the member of the Division of Legal Language of the Council of Polish Language at the Polish Academy of Science. He is a judge in the Supreme Administrative Court (since 2015). He published i.a. Judicial discretion. The legal-theoretical study (in Polish, 2004), Philosophical Approach to the Interculturality of Criminal Law (in English, 2010) and Narrative Identity as a Condition for Authentic Legal Subjectivity (in English, 2024).
